I relate to people by listening carefully, empathically, and paying attention to details. I can say the difficult truths that need to be spoken. I often see things as a metaphor or images to help my clients develop a language/vocabulary that we can share in therapy sessions. Building trust and a sense of safety in the therapy experience is my highest priority. I am a strength and trauma-informed therapist and I love working with people looking for healthier ways to cope and figure out their goals.
Working in a therapy session may look different than you imagine. It involves trusting your therapist and yourself to go further into your truths and naming your heart’s desires. It tends to include tears, owning your anger, and, surprisingly, some laughter and release. I am honored to be a part of your process and witness to your growth.
